Welcome
The University at Buffalo Marching Band, known as "the Thunder of the East", is comprised of students representing all majors in the University and performs at all home football games, select away games, and many community and university events. The band prides itself in presenting energetic, entertaining performances, and leading the way to "Victory" at home football games at UB Stadium.
We are the largest music performance and spirit organization on campus. We have a great time creating wonderful music and enjoying the camaraderie of our members and fans!

| Now Open | 2012 Marching Band Registration For all new and returning members of our Thunder of the East Marching Band. If you wish to perform in the 2012 Marching Band please complete the online registration form. (click the Join the Band link). When you submit this registration form, we will send you timely mailings and emails that will inform you of upcoming band concerts, events, and valuable information. The registration form only takes a minute to complete! |
| 04/26/2012 | New 2012 Section - Percussion Pit We will be adding xylophone, marimba, and synthesizer as well as bas and electric guitar to our marching band show for the 2012 season and beyond! We will also have additional instrumentation in the pit as well to include most auxiliary percussion instruments. Information for the Percussion Pit is posted under the Drumline tab.
